SG4 Beta 4.0.0.6
Version 4 of SizeGas, expiry date 30-Nov-2011
 - Includes all NuFlo turbines, including the N2/CO2 Weco union types.
 - Now includes Caldon ultrasonic gas meters, from 6 to 36 inch sizes.
 - Now automatically saves the plot as a .bmp file, file name referenced in the printed report
   and in the .csv report.
 - Now saves and loads sizing files.
 - Now uses Gerg-04 as the primary equation of state (EOS), which improves the ranges of
   temperature, pressure, and mole fractions.
 - "Generic Gas" option accomodates nearly any gas (not just hydrocarbons) via the Peng-Robinson EOS.
 - New [Start] tab for client information, test requirements, end connections, etc.
 - Detailed meter specifications are shown on the [Meter] tab.
 - Detailed gas properties are shown on the [Details] tab.
 - New report format for printed and saved reports.
 - The [Save] button generates three files:
     (1) A sizing file (extension ".SG4size") that can be loaded back into the program.
     (2) A bitmap file of the graph shown in the [Graph] tab.
     (3) A comma-separated text (.csv) sizing report that can be loaded directly into Excel
 - The [Print] button generates a printed report having identical content to the .csv sizing
   report.
 - Automatic file name generation, based on customer name, location, tag, and quote number.
 - Reoganized tabs, [Next] and [Back] buttons.
 - New method of saving & restoring preferences and units. When running the program for the first
   time, do the following :
     (1) Click the [Units] tab, select your preferred unit system, and set up any special units.
     (2) Click the [Prefs] tab, set up the reference conditions (atmospheric pressure etc).
Important: Enter your name! Use at least three characters.
If required, de-select any meter sizes you wish to exclude. For instance, in the U.K.,
5 inch is considered a standard size, but 6 inch is not. The reverse is true in the US
         and Canada.
     (3) Click the [Save prefs] button.
 - General operation is the same as previous versions of SizeGas.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Version 3.2.0.0 07-May-08
 - Added the ability to save the graph as a bitmap file. The 'details' tab has a "save" button in the
   lower right corner.

Version 3.1.0.0 19-Oct-07
 - Scrapped the build version system.
 - Additional range checks.
 - Fixed a bug that could unexpectedly autosize the meter.
 - Fixed broken gas identifiers in the report.

Changes in beta 8 (build 15)
 - Added 'iwc' (inches water column at 68 F reference temperature).
 - The units are now sorted by magnitude within each dimensional group, with the smallest
   unit at the top.
 - Formulaic units (IE 'api' and 'ssu') are now marked in the units list as: [Formulaic]. A
formulaic unit cannot be combined with other units, it can only be converted to a compatible
   unit.
 - Now calculating Z via AGA-8 for improved accuracy.
 - Numerous internal fixes and tweaks.

Changes in beta 7 (build 12)
 - Requested by Norm Tinker: the 'details' window now shows a table of the meter specification min,
max, and extended range standard flowrates, at min, max, and base pressures. The table also shows
the meter's min, max, and extended range actual flowrates, and the table values appear on the
   printed report.
 - Also per Norm Tinker, the minimum density for NuFlo models has been reduced to 0.4 lbm/ft3. This
should bring the program's predictions closer to the printed literature at low pressures.
 - Requested by Todd Chamney : meter range limit alerts have been added for temperature, pressure,
flowrate, and gas density. Any entry beyond the normal limits of a standard-spec meter brings up
an alert dialog box. Despite the alert, the entry will be accepted and used in the calculation.
Alerts, if any, are appended to the printed report.
 - The Prefs tab now has a checkbox to disable the range alerts if you find them too annoying.
 - Bug reported by Tony Depass: entries in the report were being obliterated when switching
   to a different tab. Fixed.
 - The printed report shows information that was missing in previous versions, including the
complete gas composition (if entered) or the GHCN data if the "estimation" method was used.
Some fields now have editable default values, eg for a Barton meter, the end connections default
to "Threaded/Flanged". You should go through the report and edit as required.
 - The program help has been updated and extended.
 - Fixed an error in the RPM calculation.

Changes in beta 6 (build 10)
 - SG3 now comes with a standard Windows installer, that automatically puts things in the
   proper places, as follows:
       c:\Program Files\SizeGas3 beta6\SG3_beta6.exe
       c:\Program Files\SizeGas3 beta6\SG3_beta6.hlp
       c:\Program Files\SizeGas3 beta6\ReadMe.txt
The installer puts a shortcut on the desktop, and adds SG3 to the Start/Programs menu.
 - Corrected scaling of X & Y axis in the graph. With small units of measurement (eg pascals),
the most significant digits of the numbers along Y could get chopped off.
Graph numbers now stay within the available space, & switch to engineering notation
   when necessary.
 - Added range limits to most inputs, as follows:
     base temperature: 50 to 70 F
std pressure: 8 to 16 psia
atmospheric pressure: 0 to 16 psi
     gauge pressure: 0 psig minimum
     flowing temperature: -450 F minimum
     all flowrates 0 minimium
     gas gravity 0.54 minimum
     %CO2, %N2, HV 0 minimum

Changes in beta 4 (build 7):
 - The meter data has been updated to the current (2004) specifications.
 - The build number is now displayed on the splash screen.
 - Editing the pressure & flowrate in the 'Details' tab moves the details point on
   the graph.
 - Graph x-axis label now indicates standard flowrate.
 - Gross properties estimation now works for heating value.
The following combinations are suported: GCN, HCN, GHN.
 - If gas gross properties (Gravity, CO2, etc) were entered in the 'Ranges' tab,
the report shows them. Mole fractions are not yet shown in the report.
 - Minor tweaks to the report info & format.
