Overview
Since the introduction of JISKOOT’s JetLine in 2018, this innovative technology has become the dynamic pipeline mixing and sampling solution of choice of for ultra-light crude oil and condensate custody transfer and fiscal allocation sampling applications in smaller line sizes. With the work that was done to create the latest generation of JetMix HE and CoJetix HE solutions, these improvements have been adopted within the new JetLine HE design, which delivers a more compact system design with lower CAPEX costs and reduced operating and energy costs over the life of the system.
As the primary element of a compact dynamic line conditioning system, the JetLine HE, high efficiency line conditioning, sampling, and analysis system provides custody-transfer-quality line conditioning for light-density, low-viscosity fluids in smaller line sizes but with .
Reduced measurement uncertainty
In contrast with conventional jet mixing solutions, the system has a nonintrusive design that creates truly homogenous fluid without obstructing the line before the sample point and enables infinite flow rate turndown. This new technology reducees the risk of fluid quality alteration during line mixing or sampling that is caused by forcing a low-vapor-pressure fluid across its bubble point.
The JISKOOT JetLine system enables fluid conditioning within the pipeline for representative sampling and also includes online analyzers and the ability to pig the line without requiring removing probes, quills, or nozzles.
Integrated system engineering
The JISKOOT JetLine system can be configured in a fast-loop configuration or as part of a JISKOOT JetMix pipeline mixing system.
• Fast loop: Instead of installing the sampler after the conditioning loop, a cell sampler and other analytical devices, such as a densitometer or viscometer, can be placed into the JISKOOT JetLine HE system flow loop, which enables obtaining a representative sample and real-time analytical fluid data within the pipeline.
• JISKOOT JetMix system: The fluid is reinjected via jetted nozzles that are radially mounted within the pipe wall of the JISKOOT JetLine system spool, adding energy into the pipeline near the sample location point. The system can be used in front of an inline sample probe or an existing fast-loop sampling system to ensure the representativeness of the sample.</li>
• Laboratory-tested and field-proven technology
Results from laboratory testing at National Engineering Laboratory in Scotland proved that the JISKOOT JetLine system accommodates most conventional emulsion conditions.
