Condition-based monitoring is a powerful diagnostic tool, historically only available with flow measurement technologies like Coriolis and Ultrasonic. Due to the breakthrough innovations of the MC Synergy, this functionality is now available for Turbine meter flow measurement - at a fraction of the cost. Users can be notified in multiple ways if there are problems with a wide range of parameters. These include but are not limited to bent or broken rotor blade, meter flowing outside the rated flow range, poor signal from the turbine meter, and surging flow. Additionally, eight userconfigurable alarms are available.
Fast and accurate commissioning is achieved using the QR codes attached to our NUFLO and BARTON liquid turbine meters and your smart phone or tablet. You can upload meter characteristics and configure the device wirelessly via Bluetooth using our complimentary Digital Data Plate mobile app. No connection to the Internet is necessary. It’s all in the QR code!
Flexible connectivity is crucial for operators in many applications. That’s why we’ve made our device HART and Ethernet ready. Just add an expansion board to access this expanded connectivity. We’ve also added two multi-functional digital outputs. The MC Synergy also retains the MC-III’s ability to communicate via Modbus; however, the MC Synergy adds a second RS485 comm port. The Modbus map is backwards compatible, so replacement is essentially plug and play!
