The 3000 series QRATE Scanner integrated control flow computer line is comprised of two models - QRATE Scanner 3100 and impending QRATE Scanner 3200. Each provides the same user interface experience but vary in hardware format to suit site criteria, whether explosionproof/flameproof or in a fiberglass-reinforced plastic case that allows for extensive addition of I/O modules.
The 3000 series QRATE Scanners are evolutionary and revolutionary electronic flow computers, RTUs, data concentrators, and masters of distributed networks which provide for 2 internal compensated flow streams, as well as an additional 20 compensated and redundant flow streams. The value proposition for locations with multiple flow runs, such as a well pad or gas lift manifolds is compelling. It can simultaneously operate as a slave device within the local network.
The 3000 series QRATE Scanner flow computer can also run the full implementation of AGA 9 Part 2, including gas mixtures. The revolutionary architecture of operating as the central hub of a multi-dropped wired and/or wireless Smart-Mesh network significantly reduces CAPEX and OPEX costs. The multiple Modbus connections and optional WiFi wireless communications allow the device to function as the data hub for multiple device types and provides unapparelled flexibility and data security. The 3000 series QRATE Scanner also includes on board calculators, triggered logs, and programmable logic controllers.
