NUFLO MC-III Digital Totalizer and Transmitter
For applications where you need a totalizer with more than just a local readout, the NUFLO MC-III offers extensive connectivity and data logging capabilities. Optimized for use with liquid and gas turbine meters, the NUFLO MC-III also accommodates any device that produces a sine wave, DC pulse, or dry contact closure, allowing for up to 12-point linearization. Configurations are retained in non-volatile memory, which is accessed from the keypad or the complimentary pc-based software program, making deployment fast and easy.
Extensive archival data logging includes 384 daily, 768 hourly, and 345 event logs, all downloadable at high speed via the ModbusRS485 port in less than a minute.
In addition to Modbus, outputs include a loop-powered 4-20mA, a scalable DC pulse, and an Amp and Square preamplifier feature that is a zero latency retransmission of the frequency input from the turbine meter. This flexibility allows easy integration of the NUFLO MC-III into a SCADA system and provides the ability for field calibrations.
When used in a gas application where the static pressure and temperature are regulated, the NUFLO MC-III can be programmed to calculate standard volumes using a super compressibility calculation, similar to a gas flow computer.
Mounting options include direct, remote, and panel.
NUFLO MC-III EXP Digital Totalizer and Transmitter
In hazardous area field applications where the use of anexplosionproof or flameproof housing is necessary, the NUFLOMC-III EXP is an excellent choice. Global certifications include CSA Class I, Division 1 and ATEX/IECEx Class 1, Zone 1.
In particularly harsh environments, the optional stainless steel enclosure offers excellent resistant to corrosive environmental elements, allowing for a long service life.
The NUFLO MC-III EXP can be powered via an external DC power supply or operate autonomously via genuine Sensia battery packs, available in lithium and alkaline configurations.
The CSA approved version allows you to add an optional local USB communication port to connect directly from the pc to the NUFLO MC-III EXP using a simple USB Type A to Type B cable. The ATEX version can be fitted with an external 2-pin RS485 connection.
NUFLO MC-III WP Digital Totalizer and Transmitter
In hazardous area field applications where area does not require the use of an explosion proof or flameproof housing, the NUFLO MC-III WP is an outstanding option. Certifications include CSA Class I, Division 2 nonincendive.
Like the EXP version, the NUFLO MC-III WP can be powered via an external DC power supply or operate autonomously via genuine Sensia battery packs, available in lithium and alkaline configurations.
Equipped with one conduit hub on the bottom of the enclosure, the unit also has two additional knockouts to ease installation.
NUFLO MC-III Panel Mount Digital Totalizer and Transmitter
In general areas, the NUFLO MC-III Panel Mount offers a 1/4DIN (3.62” x 3.62”) for mounting in a user-supplied enclosure.

Please be aware that certain companies appear to be using some or all of Sensia’s current and former brand names; Sensia, Cameron or Nuflo together with part numbers or descriptions to imply they are offering genuine Sensia batteries when they are not. These batteries are often installed in instruments installed in electrically hazardous areas and contain sufficient energy to be classified as dangerous goods. Any deviation from the genuine designs presents unspecified risks and invalidates all certifications and warranties. A difference in the outer jacket of the pack can be an obvious but not an all-inclusive indication of a genuine verses a replica battery.
