CALDON’s transducer technology, developed for challenging application conditions, has been adapted and optimized for use in CO2 applications spanning the liquid and dense supercritical phase of the CO2 phase diagram. Coupled with a digital electronic platform, the CALDON LEFM 544Ci is designed to meet the accuracy demanded of fiscal and custody transfer metering in CO2 applications.
The LEFM 544Ci was designed to be deployed as a cost-effective solution where the application desires a 100% redundant or check solution where there are is no restrictions in footprint or system pressure loss. The LEFM 544Ci is generally used in conjunction with a flow conditioning device, incorporating a 5D plenum with a further 10D of straight length between the flow conditioner and the inlet of the meter.
Leveraging a common electronics platform our G3 electronics is rich in I/O, with fibre or copper ethernet incorporated as standard to facilitate high speed connections to our intuitive CALDON USM ADVISOR software for condition-based monitoring.
Our transducers are isolated from the process and outside the pressure boundary for high integrity and ease of service. If replacement is ever required, this can be performed under pipeline pressure without any special tools.
Two fully independent four path Configurations for 100% redundancy or check metering
