Ideal for liquid fiscal or custody transfer applications, where footprint, system pressure loss and/ or calibration logistics may be a challenge the CALDON LEFM 280Ci offers significant advantages.
The eight-path configuration uses crossed paths in each of four chordal planes to effectively cancel the effect of non-axial velocities and accurately integrate the axial velocity profile. The meter is OIML R117 Class 0.3 certified with a minimum requirement of 5D upstream without the need for flow conditioning.
Over many years and owing to additional testing it has become standard practice to recalibrate the LEFM 280Ci using calibration spools of minimum 5D upstream if they meet the requirements of the international standards, avoiding additional logistics through projects spools being returned to the calibration facility.
Leveraging a common electronics platform our G3 electronics is rich in I/O, with fibre or copper ethernet incorporated as standard to facilitate high speed connections to our intuitive CALDON USM ADVISOR software for condition-based monitoring.
Our transducers are isolated from the process and outside the pressure boundary for high integrity and ease of service. If replacement is ever required, this can be performed under pipeline pressure without any special tools.
CALDON offer an optional proprietary anti-corrosion anti-adhesion coating, which is applied to the internal diameter of the meter along with the transducers faces, significantly reducing or eliminating the risk of corrosion and contamination.
