Sensia Automated Gas Lift Optimization Solutions enable you to reduce production shortfalls, reduce the quantity of gas that you use, and reduce manual interventions. Well processes are continuous. But surveillance, injection rate targets, and optimization are still carried out manually, and therefore intermittently, in most cases. Chokes are set, but not continuously controlled, and this inevitably means that operators are injecting suboptimal amounts of gas.

Our software system is designed for the production engineer. The user interface to Sensia’s ConnectedProduction provides for each well; nodal analysis, pressure & temperature profiles, performance curves, key performance indicators, gas lift diagnostics, estimated production rates and real time data. It can astride an existing SCADA system that it exchanges data with or function by itself an automation host.

We offer three systems toward gas lift optimization. The offering begins by building the foundation and represent the first steps to full autonomy and well by well optimization. We also provide our physical products to support other objectives and solutions.
#1 MEASUREMENT BASED SYSTEM - Gas Lift Data Gathering
Available as either a mechanical or digital based system both rely on wellhead visits to collect gas injection history and to manually adjust the choke to set the injection flow rate. These packages derive much of their ultra-low CAPEX status from the fact that onsite power generation or other utilities are not required. Both systems are proven to be robust with tens of thousands of deployments using both BARTON measurement technology and NUFLO measurement technology.
#2 SURVEILLANCE BASED SYSTEM - Automated Gas Lift Remote Surveillance
Fast centralized indication of unexpected problems, automatic data collection by any SCADA software or Sensia’s own ConnectedProduction oil & gas digitalization platform. NUFLO Scanners connect to Modbus systems while Sensia’s QRATE Scanners with MQTT supporting cloud-based connectivity or by Modbus. Easily upgradable to remote control as both Scanner series have PID throttling control capabilities.
#3 OPTIMIZED CONTROL SYSTEM - Automated Gas Lift Optimization
ConnectedProduction is Sensia’s digitization platform providing powerful data gathering, contextualization, visualization, diagnostic, optimization, and analytics functions. It allows operators to monitor current and historical parameters from gas lift assets and to send revised optimization flow targets to the flow computers at the well site. Operators can do this from a centralized location or wherever they are located. This integrated platform is offered On-premise or In The Cloud.
